Alone at the age of 70, on a cargo ship, in a foreign country with no money, no followers, and having suffered two heart attacks – Srila Prabhupada was determined. He fearlessly spoke the truth, even when it was unpopular, inconvenient, or politically incorrect.

Although he was a world spiritual leader, Srila Prabhupada was truly humble. He would sit on the floor, cook for guests, type letters himself, and often call himself “just a servant of my Guru Maharaja.”
